Upham Farm Fishing
The fishery was established in the early 1970s when the spring fed Pond 1 was cleared and Ponds 2, 3 and 4 were constructed. All the ponds were stocked with carp of varying sizes and Upham Farm has since enjoyed a national reputation among carp anglers for providing tremendous sport. Ponds 5 and 6 were opened in the 1980s and tench were introduced at that time.
In recent years the tench population has grown in size and number, and we can now boast some of the best tench fishing around. Larger carp were introduced and together with a few other interesting varieties you can look forward to a superb days fishing. In 2008 a new much larger specimen Pond 7 was constructed in the marshy area below Pond 6. This was opened in the Spring of 2009.
